Hello and thank you are the two phrases you will use most. Here are the everyday and polite versions I use myself.

Hello (polite, for older people or customers)

Hello everyone

早上好

zǎoshang hǎo

Good morning

晚上好

wǎnshang hǎo

Good evening

谢谢

xièxie

Thank you

Thank you (to one person)

非常感谢

fēicháng gǎnxiè

Thank you very much

bú kèqi

You're welcome
